RICK JELINEK performer Began his education in front of a microphone while still in high school as lead singer for heavy metal bands Graven Image, Phantom, and Eliminator. Lots of wailing and screaming- what can you say, it was the 80s. Good vocal exercise, though. In 1996, after his first son Spencer was born, he began imitating various cartoon characters, namely Bugs Bunny. He found it came very naturally, and expanded his characterizations to include The Simpson's characters after his second son Dane was born in 2001. Has always been a huge fan of The Beatles, which his older brother Monte first introduced him to in the mid 1970s. Developed a passion for recording ever since his mother Dina bought him his first cassette recorder in 1975. Lives on an 83-acre ranch in San Antonio, Texas with his wife Christy and their two sons.
