BOB BARNES performer
Bob Barnes is a voice-talented guy who's been specializing in voice-for-advertising for over 30 years.
Whether voicing a corporate image narration, a high-impact TV promo, a subtle character voice, or an ultra-cool radio spot, Bob brings a rare quality to advertising--artistry! As an actor with numerous movie and TV credits, Bob has achieved a "voice-altility" born of years of experience. He can conjure up deliveries that are deep, confidential, whispery, breathy, light, whimsical, dramatic, cartoony, and many more!
A few of Bob's credits:
MOVIES & TV:
Bob co-starred with Jack Warden and Roy Scheider in the HBO films "JUDGMENT" and "SOMEBODY HAS TO SHOOT THE PICTURE" and was featured in the films "ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS" and "PSYCHO IV" among others. On TV, Bob has appeared on all four major networks. He was featured in two "Movies of the Week"--as a judge in CBS's "WITH HOSTILE INTENT" (co-starring Melissa Gilbert and Mel Harris) and as a psychiatrist in NBC's "ROXANNE, THE PRIZE PULITZER" (with Perry King and China Phillips.) He's appeared on the ABC soap "ALL MY CHILDREN" and was seen regularly as the Warden on Fox's "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY" and as the Deputy on the USA Network's "SWAMP THING." NARRATIONS: Bob is a master of "shoptalk." He can handle the most complex medical narration, a computer language instruction course, or a heart-rending religious film with seemingly effortless competency. And he tailors his delivery to the production's intended audience--whether it's high school students for a vocational recruitment video, or a military board reviewing a rocket engine test. ODD BALL STUFF: Bob recently became the voice of Moses for 10,000 action figure dolls distributed world-wide by Toy President's, Inc.. He has voiced a number of eulogies for a California Company that makes video tombstones--that's right, folks, video tombstones. Wave your hand in front of one of these unique memorials and you'll see photos, film, and/or video of the deceased on the built-in video screen, accompanied by Bob's voice doing a respectful eulogy of the beloved departed. He's also been the voice of electronic toys, vending machines, computer websites and programs, museum and mall kiosks, training films, audio books, and has done literally hundreds of voices for computer games including Deer Hunter 2000 and Cold Case Files. |
